Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: October 11, 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to the AutoLantic website and your use of our vehicle sourcing, vehicle brokerage, luxury and exotic vehicle sourcing, automotive-parts sourcing, inspection coordination, shipping coordination, and related services.
By using this website, submitting a request, approving a quotation, or engaging AutoLantic for a service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. About AutoLantic
AutoLantic helps customers locate and evaluate vehicles and automotive parts, primarily from suppliers and sellers in the United States, and may coordinate related services such as inspection, inland transportation, documentation, export preparation, and shipment.
Our precise role in a transaction will be stated in the applicable quotation, invoice, service agreement, purchase authorization, or other written communication. Nothing on this website by itself creates a purchase contract, agency relationship, partnership, joint venture, or guarantee of service.
2. Our Services
AutoLantic may provide or coordinate services including:
- Regular vehicle sourcing
- Luxury, exotic, and specialty vehicle sourcing
- Vehicle-brokerage assistance
- Automotive-parts sourcing
- Seller and listing research
- Vehicle identification number or chassis-number review
- Independent inspection or verification coordination
- Price and condition comparison
- Inland transportation and export coordination
- Shipping, insurance, and documentation assistance
- Communication with sellers, suppliers, carriers, inspectors, and other service providers
The specific services included in any engagement will be identified in writing.
3. No AutoLantic-Owned Inventory Unless Expressly Stated
Vehicles and parts displayed on this website may be examples, previously sourced items, third-party listings, or illustrations of the types of items AutoLantic may help customers obtain.
Unless expressly identified in writing as AutoLantic-owned inventory, displayed vehicles and parts are not owned, stocked, or offered for direct sale by AutoLantic. Availability, condition, specifications, mileage, ownership, and price may change without notice.
4. Requests Are Not Purchase Orders
Submitting a sourcing form, contacting AutoLantic, or requesting a quotation does not obligate you to make a purchase and does not obligate AutoLantic to locate or acquire an item.
A transaction proceeds only after the relevant terms have been presented and the customer has provided the required written approval and payment.
5. Customer Information and Accuracy
You agree to provide complete and accurate information, including, where applicable:
- Your name and contact information
- Vehicle make, model, year, trim, mileage, condition, and preferred features
- Vehicle identification number or chassis number
- Part name, part number, quantity, and preferred condition
- Photographs, documents, and compatibility information
- Budget, destination, and delivery requirements
AutoLantic is not responsible for loss, delay, incompatibility, or additional expense caused by incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or misleading information supplied by the customer or another party acting for the customer.
6. Quotations and Estimates
Unless expressly stated otherwise, quotations and estimates are based on information available when issued. They may include some or all of the following:
- Vehicle or parts purchase price
- AutoLantic sourcing, brokerage, or service fees
- Inspection and verification charges
- Auction, seller, marketplace, or transaction fees
- Inland transportation
- Storage
- Export documentation
- Shipping and cargo insurance
- Customs duties, taxes, port charges, clearing costs, and destination expenses
Prices may change because of seller actions, auction results, exchange rates, fuel charges, carrier rates, government fees, taxes, duties, storage, port charges, or other circumstances outside AutoLantic’s control.
A quotation is valid only for the period stated in it. If no validity period is stated, availability and pricing must be reconfirmed before payment or purchase.
7. Customer Approval
AutoLantic will not knowingly purchase a vehicle or part on a customer’s behalf without the customer’s authorization.
Approval may be documented through a signed agreement, email, electronic message, invoice payment, deposit, or another written method accepted by AutoLantic. Once a purchase or binding commitment has been authorized, cancellation may be restricted and costs already incurred may be nonrefundable.
8. Payments, Deposits, and Service Fees
Required payments, deposits, service fees, payment schedules, and accepted payment methods will be stated in the applicable quotation, invoice, or service agreement.
A sourcing or service fee compensates AutoLantic for professional work performed and may become earned as that work is completed. Purchase funds, seller payments, auction payments, transportation costs, inspection charges, and other third-party expenses may become nonrefundable once committed or paid.
Customers are responsible for bank fees, card-processing fees, currency-conversion costs, transfer charges, and similar payment expenses unless otherwise stated in writing.
9. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation and refund eligibility depend on the stage of the transaction and the written terms provided for that engagement.
Before AutoLantic or a third party incurs costs, cancellation may be possible. After research, inspection, bidding, purchase, transportation, documentation, shipment, or another paid activity has begun, some or all charges may be nonrefundable.
No refund is guaranteed unless required by applicable law or expressly provided in writing. Any approved refund may be reduced by completed service fees, nonrefundable third-party charges, bank fees, exchange-rate differences, and other documented costs already incurred.
10. Third-Party Sellers and Service Providers
AutoLantic may communicate or coordinate with independent sellers, dealerships, auction companies, inspectors, mechanics, transporters, freight forwarders, shipping lines, insurers, customs agents, clearing agents, payment processors, and other service providers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, these parties are independent third parties and are not AutoLantic employees or controlled by AutoLantic. Their own contracts, policies, limitations, schedules, and terms may apply.
AutoLantic will exercise reasonable care in selecting and coordinating third parties but cannot guarantee their performance, statements, availability, or continued operation.
11. Inspections and Verification
When requested and available, AutoLantic may arrange an inspection, history report, diagnostic review, photograph review, video review, or other verification service.
Inspections and reports reflect the condition observed or information available at a particular time. They may not identify every defect, concealed condition, intermittent fault, prior repair, title issue, counterfeit component, future mechanical failure, or problem that requires dismantling or specialized testing.
Independent inspection services are subject to the inspector’s own scope, procedures, qualifications, exclusions, and terms.
12. Vehicle and Parts Condition
Used vehicles and used, remanufactured, or aftermarket parts may show wear, prior repairs, cosmetic damage, mechanical issues, missing items, or differences from photographs and descriptions.
Unless a separate written warranty expressly applies, vehicles and parts are sourced based on the condition and representations available from the seller, supplier, inspector, or other relevant source.
Customers should not assume that an item is new, defect-free, accident-free, original-equipment, or suitable for a particular purpose unless that description is expressly confirmed in writing.
13. Parts Compatibility
The customer is responsible for providing accurate vehicle and part-identification information. A matching vehicle make, model, or year alone may not establish compatibility.
Compatibility may depend on the VIN or chassis number, engine, transmission, trim, production date, market specification, electrical system, manufacturer part number, superseding part number, or other technical information.
AutoLantic will use reasonable efforts to verify compatibility but cannot guarantee compatibility when essential information is missing, inaccurate, or unavailable.
14. Titles, Ownership, Liens, and Records
AutoLantic may assist with title, ownership, lien, history, or seller-document review when such information is available. However, records and databases may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or limited by jurisdiction.
Final title transfer, registration, licensing, taxes, and legal eligibility remain subject to the requirements of the relevant authorities and transaction documents.
15. Shipping, Export, Import, and Delivery
Shipping and delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in a separate written agreement by the responsible service provider.
Delays may occur because of seller performance, inspection, repairs, title processing, inland transportation, port congestion, vessel schedules, customs procedures, government action, weather, labor disputes, security events, or other circumstances outside AutoLantic’s reasonable control.
The customer is responsible for confirming that the vehicle or part may lawfully be imported, registered, used, or resold at the destination. AutoLantic may provide coordination or general information but does not guarantee customs clearance, registration, licensing, duty treatment, or compliance with every destination-country requirement.
16. Risk of Loss and Insurance
Responsibility and risk of loss will be determined by the applicable purchase, transportation, shipping, insurance, and service documents.
Customers should obtain appropriate cargo, marine, transportation, and other insurance coverage. Insurance availability, exclusions, deductibles, claim procedures, and compensation are governed by the insurer’s policy.
AutoLantic does not act as an insurer and does not guarantee that an insurer will accept or fully pay a claim.
17. Website Information and Availability
We aim to keep website information accurate and useful, but listings, photographs, prices, specifications, articles, links, and other content may contain errors or become outdated.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue website content or services without prior notice. The website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, security issues, hosting failures, technical problems, or circumstances beyond our control.
18. Acceptable Use
You must not use this website or our services to:
- Violate any law, regulation, sanction, export restriction, or third-party right
- Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information
- Attempt an unauthorized or suspicious transaction
- Upload malicious code or interfere with website security
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority
- Copy, scrape, reproduce, or exploit website content unlawfully
- Use AutoLantic to conceal ownership, funds, identity, destination, or transaction purpose
We may refuse or discontinue service where we reasonably suspect fraud, illegality, sanctions exposure, security risk, abusive conduct, or material misrepresentation.
19. Intellectual Property
The AutoLantic name, branding, original text, graphics, page designs, and other original website materials are owned by or licensed to AutoLantic and may not be reproduced or commercially used without permission.
Third-party names, logos, photographs, vehicle designs, trademarks, and listing materials belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or ownership by AutoLantic.
20. Privacy
Our collection and handling of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy. By submitting information through the website or communicating with us, you acknowledge that relevant information may be processed and shared as reasonably necessary to respond to your request and provide the requested services.
21. No Guarantee of a Successful Transaction
AutoLantic cannot guarantee that a requested vehicle or part will be located, remain available, satisfy the customer’s budget, pass inspection, qualify for export or import, or be delivered within an estimated period.
We may decline a request when suitable options are unavailable, the transaction presents unacceptable risk, required information is missing, or applicable requirements cannot reasonably be satisfied.
22. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and general informational content are provided on an “as available” basis. Specific contractual commitments apply only when stated in a written quotation, invoice, authorization, or service agreement.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, remedy, duty, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
23. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, AutoLantic will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses arising from third-party conduct, market changes, shipment delays, lost business opportunities, destination-country decisions, or circumstances outside AutoLantic’s reasonable control.
Any limitation stated here remains subject to applicable law and does not excuse fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
24. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the State of Maryland, United States, without overriding any mandatory consumer protection or other rights that apply to a particular customer or transaction.
Before beginning formal proceedings, the parties should first attempt in good faith to resolve a dispute through written communication. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent relief or using any remedy that cannot legally be waived.
25. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in our services, business practices, technology, or legal requirements. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
Changes apply prospectively unless applicable law or an express agreement requires otherwise.
26. Severability and No Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
A failure or delay in enforcing a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.
